Holakunda village is located about 28 km north of Kalaburagi taluk headquarters on the Humanabad road. A collection of seven-domed domes dating back to the Bahmani period can be seen in Kalaburagi city. Spread over an area of 25 to 30 acres, the said area has various types of small domes. There are 7 to 8 large domes in the said area. The said area has ancient mosques and tombs of royal persons of the Bahmani period. This area, which has beautiful architectural designs, has two large wells.

By Road (Car or Taxi)

  • Distance: ~30 km

  • Duration: Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic and conditions.

  • Route: Travel northwards from Kalaburagi via NH‑50 or local roads towards Holkunda. 

By Public Bus

  • Availability: There are public bus services from Kalaburagi to Holkunda.

  • Convenience: Most practical and cost-effective option if you don’t have a private vehicle. 

By Train

  • Nearest Railway Station: Kalaburagi (Gulbarga Station) is the closest railhead.
