Located about three km between Narona and Chinchansur, it is believed that visiting this place (Kshetrapala) will bring the same benefits as visiting all the holy places in the country. There are eight Tirthas here, namely Gupta, Narasimha, Lakshmi Sarva, Bhavanasha, Rudra. Of these, Gupta Tirtha originates a couple of furlongs from the place and flows throughout the year in a valley, while Bhavanasha Tirtha is located inside a cave and has fierce sculptures of Kalika and Bhairava. The rest of the Tirthas are large Pushkarinis. The Kshemalingeshwara temple is ancient and simple. It is surrounded by the water of the Kartikeya Swamy temple, and a fair is held here once every three years. There is a recent temple of Akkamahadevi here. The Narayan Devara Math here is also worth mentioning. This area, which is spread over an area of eighty-five acres, is beautiful with greenery around it, a flowing river in between, a complex of devotional temples and various stone statues.
