Over view

The attractive dome is built in a square shape on the western side of the city of Kalaburagi on the Aland Road. It had a secret passage, as the locals say. It was built on the model of the Gol Gumbaz of Vijayapur and it also resembles it. It was originally built for Khaja Bandenawaz by a Persian merchant. It resembles the Gol Gumbaz model. The Adil Shahi Sultans later built the Gol Gumbaz in Bijapur using the same style. The interior of the dome is decorated with beautiful paintings.
